About this vehicle
Original UK CP series car with overdrive. A full body off chassis restoration was completed in the early 1990’s and was still picking up winners medals at the TR Register International weekend in 2000.
The car is still in beautiful condition with MOT’s showing an average of around 500 miles travelled per year since then.
The engine was built to fast road specification with polished and potted cylinder head, lightened and balanced bottom end, alloy sump and updated oil and water pumps and is fuelled by triple Weber carburettors. This give a lovely smooth delivery of power with a nice smooth tick over.
The gearbox and overdrive have been updated to cope with the extra power whilst the front brakes have been unrated to a 4 pot alloy vented disc conversion along with alloy finned rear brake drums. The suspension has been poly bushed and shockers uptakes to Spax adjustable units.
A big bore stainless steel exhaust system is mated to a stainless steel extractor manifold. Cooling is taken care of with an alloy radiator, Kenlowe electric fan and silicone hoses.
